Decision brief

How can consultants pair advice with online learning?

Keep the consultant’s assessment and recommendations distinct from SCOUT’s course delivery and learner records. Agree what learning objective supports the engagement, how people are enrolled, who answers implementation questions, and how completion is reported. SCOUT can discuss current course and administration options; NobleSix may support separate facilitated practice. No training module should be presented as a substitute for the consultant’s professional judgment.

Bring to the conversation: Bring the engagement type, learner roles, expected handoffs, and the reporting the client will need.

Program options

Discuss commercial terms, course access, co-branding, completion records and the responsibilities of each partner before launch.

Keep advice and course delivery distinct

A consultant may own the assessment and client relationship while SCOUT supplies a possible online learning path. Agree which findings inform course selection, who assigns learners and what the consultant can review after training. Courseware, completion reporting, co-branding and data access should be checked against the current platform and a signed agreement. The client’s safety plan remains the consultant’s and employer’s work, not a result generated by enrollment.
